from what I understand the intelligence from satelittes and from people on the ground before the invasion the west did not think the northwest of ukraine were in any position to start an invasion (others were, but not the northwest troops)

guess what? they went in it anyway. Putin is pulling a f**k Hitler, he's directing this all and not listening to reason. f**k, in the past two covid years did he stop hanging out with sane people and just listened to Trump calling him a genius?

I talked to my russian comrades. they said if you protest within a half an hour you're in jail. the economy is about to go into freefall if it isn't already, I just don't see how this doesn't end with another revolution if Putin isn't quickly deposed.

Zelenskiy is calling for Ukraine's immediate ascension into EU. and you know what? he's f**k right. Ukrainians are dying for European ideals. every one of Zelenskiy's updates is inspiring, so inspiring Russia will be destroyed by their invasion of Ukraine, because he both shamed and inspired the leaders of the west into action. the sanctions are completely catastrophic for Russia

maersk is also considering ending shipments to russia. and if the russians don't stop bombing container ships from other countries i wouldn't be surprised if more companies consider this. this is going to be simlar to iran at the height of their sanctions, where something like an air conditioner was near impossible to come by. only iran had russia to skirt the sanctions. who does russia have?
