The Democrats will never make any significant cuts to defense for the same reason the Republicans will never make any significant cuts to entitlements.. JOBS..
The economy's limping along.. No way Obama will cut 10,000's of defense jobs which would hurt the economy under his watch... Same thing if Romney wins in November.. No way he cuts his own throat by cutting entitlements and taking BILLIONS of $'s out of the economy which would slow it down even further..
