To clear things up, my wife likes Radiohead but she's a very casual fan. I took her to see them after raving about a previous show that I went to see with some friends. She was curious to see them, but she admitted it would have been more fun for me to go with a friend who was a bigger fan.
She offered to take a friend to see Madonna, but I felt a slight obligation to take one for the team and be a good sport. I did have a slight macabre interest in seeing Madonna I have to admit. It was as overblown and self-important as I expected it would be, so I wasn't let down.
She even got a pro-Obama rant in there (with his name on her back for extra credit). I wasn't disappointed in my home state when there were some noticeable boos in the crowd. Get some Texas....
