Having talked to some cops in the Seattle area I can say that Bill Gates gets away with a lot of things over there. So definitely alpha.

Alpha, beta etc etc etc etc. Is nothing more than bunch of hijacked ethology. First co-opted by coke fueled yuppies of the 80'ies and now used by various 'buizness types' with no social lives, who exist simply as a host for their jobs. To try justify the belief that they are objectively the most valuable people in the world and as a coping mechanism for the various meaningful relationship sized voids in their lives. hell, look who are the fan's around here.
Its utter shite from a social psychology point of view. Its a model that only works in small packs, not organisations and societies of 100's to 100's of thousands.
Sold many a book, to many an idiot, though.
Arguing, what is an is not 'alpha' you might well argue what is an is not fluffywumpkins.
