this guy is all bluster. you don't run your business based on stupid shit like this you run it based on economics. if you have the ability to expand and make a profit from it you'd do it. this guy obviously isn't in a position to actually expand.

There are still legitimate concerns from business owners regarding the election, but not in the light its painted here.

Doesn't this sound remarkably like a similar argument from a while back, except in that case it wasn't small businesses, it was mega corporations?

Something about how, even though they're sitting on record profits--because that HAS been the case under Obama--they're waiting to hire because they're afraid of... Obama, I guess.

Yet now mysteriously it's small business owners.

I always thought that it was a hoot because a) it was a pre-emptive excuse for why they're not hiring despite the profits (shifting it to: because the Kenyan Muslim is president!) and b) demand = jobs. You don't hire people just to spend your own money, you hire people to keep up with demand. Obviously when the economy craters, demand goes down.
