So this article, along with much of the media is reporting that John Kerry and Susan Rice are the two top contenders to replace Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State early next year.
I've also heard some floating around of other names, in particular some bipartisan options such as Jon Hunstman, Chuck Hagel, or Colin Powel (lol)
Anyway, I do think that the concern of Kerry's seat is a legitimate political consideration that they'd have to make. It could mean a quick way back into the Senate for Scott Brown for sure.
Susan Rice, the GOP would have a field day with but I think she'd be good if you the nominating and confirmation process wasn't too much of a bitch.
Who do you like and who do you think will end up with the job?
