You cannot compare a household's income to a businesses' revenue. The costs of the business are a requirement to function. The debt from a home mortgage or the $80k car and all the rest are choices made by the individual that are not necessary.
No one is arguing to look at a single point of income, this is a straw man.
5 times the median income is rich. To argue otherwise is stupid.
