Huntsman is sort of a barometer for where the GOP is at. I personally think that had he made it through to the general, he would have kicked Obama's ass.

He's got awesome credentials, and while I don't agree with every position he holds, close enough. Plus he gets China in a way that all those tea party bozos and Romney can't even comprehend. Personally I think a guy who gets China would be the kind of guy you want representing us. Plus, he used to be a governor.

Alas, he was the first one ousted from the primaries because the TP virals wanted their red, bloody meat, served up to them by Bubble People like Santorum (seriously?) and Bachmann (c'mon!).

So now the few people who are questioning what it takes to win (meaning: not FOX as detailed on the other thread) are saying the GOP needs their own Bill Clinton for 2016 and... well, here you go. But the fact his name is not being mentioned says volumes.

Instead we hear about people like Rubio, etc.

The problem with Bush is that after Dubya, will anybody ever want another Bush in the White House?

The irony of it all is that Jeb is actually the smart one--how Dubya became the candidate is a mystery when Jeb was as qualified as Dubya was not.
