im not sure if we'll be around for the sun to die but we will be around in the year 3000 no doubt. heck even what we would understand as just a continuation of our culture will still be around then. that's not very long at all. within a few hundred years we'll be sending out generational ships. hell we'll probably live to see them off

A meteor strike is the only option with even the slightest chance of wiping out humanity. People would live through pretty much the rest of those other things. We're a pretty smart and resourceful animal.
