Mexico would be fine if wasn't for the 'war on drugs'. Just legalise it, but first the US government stops having to put outrageous pressure on them to keep it illegal, it doesn't work anyway.

if we're talking "new china" as in places that are currently as economically powerful as china than this entire thread is dead in the water. there is no state that is currently china other than china. if we're talking about rising markets that are going to fuel the next few decades of growth and expansion, like china did in decades past, than africa is a valid answer to the question.

Africa does not have a big enough dictator to be stable. It has too many little dictators.
