Telling a guy that they're a self-hating man because they don't bow to their hormonal instincts is an internet-only phenomenon. In real life, women are respected, and guys get 1-punched for sayin some of the stuff that has been said in this thread in defense of "men".

Fact of the matter is I want a wife who will enjoy watching over the children when they're young, and, if she chooses, to furnish/handle the house. I want to spoil my wife. I'm willing to work my arse off 50 hours a week, commute every morning, and deal with the foul IRS man if she's willing to raise the children during those same hours. I'm not saying my job is easier, but I think homemaking is more fulfilling than most corporate jobs.
