I didn't want to believe it because I thought we were past that when Obama was elected, but there obviously is still a huge race issue in this country and while some of us have always said this is the catnip that the FOXs, Limbaughs, O'Reilly's etc. are always throwing at their audience, their reaction after this one erased any doubt.

Or should I say the day of this one? I mean seriously? Lonely New Black Panther Guy? Showing that all day? I had always thought this was the real motivation behind the birther craziness--now I know it was.

Clearly there's a lot of people just not ready to let go of their belief that the country can only be properly run by old white rich guys in their party. Hence all the willingness to believe the goofiest of conspiracy theories and "scandals."
