and a majority of the people think there are legitimate reasons for why legal marriage recognized by the state ought be between a single man and a single woman, no more, no less. you just happen to disagree. sounds like a policy disagreement -- not a constitutional one
similarly "designing equipment" is a policy disagreement. so is the (far greater) concern of men acting like men around the women. no not raping or anything like that, more like, doing stupid things to protect the women that end up getting people killed... can't undo millions of years of evolution just because you want it to happen. still, that's a policy disagreement, not a constitutional one
