^^ those are for emerging economies, not the part of Europe that is struggling right now. And it says to bring it down to "sustainable levels," which is something I'm not arguing against (but what is sustainable is up for debate).

Of course, those quotes also imply that the major emerging economies in the world are spending a lot and were less affected by the recession, again proving my point. That the IMF might be wrong in its suggestion is irrelevant to the data.

Your quotes support my point entirely. Like I said, gov't spending is usually better than not.

anyone who is both involved in politics and an active twitter user probably already has their mind made up
(they either only read huffpo & msnbc online or they live by drudge)


either way, the party faithful on each side already have their stack of talking points as to why its the other sides fault. which is sad enough - that with weeks remaining to solve this, we're busier trying to place blame ahead of time rather than work on a solution.

Don't waste your time with these liberals. They'll do shit like that, link you to 60 pages of crap and call that proof. When asked for SPECIFICS, they crawfish and twist and turn like an Indy car. It's not worth your time. The fact is, liberals eat, sleep and breathe larger gov't and more gov't spending. It's their mantra. It's the food on their plate. Of COURSE they're going to say more gov't spending is better than not. I mean hell, look where gov't spending has gotten us so far, 16 trillion in debt, tens of millions under or unemployed and Obamacare forced down our throats which is causing layoffs left and right. They will defend to their dying breath everything I have stated that describes them above.

Dude, it's what liberals are. It's why they are called "tax and spend liberals." To shut up a liberal about the gov't, just ask them to name a single gov't program that has created revenue, income, that was NOT dependent on the taxpayer dime. Gov't is one thing.....a leech. A big fat ugly leech. And it keeps getting bigger and bigger and sucking the blood out of the host, the American people. And since leeches are painless.....nobody can feel it.
