I'm not too worried about the UN Blue Helmets, but Obama's election does have a high risk of causing a civil war. The civil war would of course be initiated by the anti-Obama maniacs.
Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.

I think an actual civil war would be unbelievably ugly. 75 percent of the country would go into it thinking it'll be a quick route of the fundamentalists, and some overseas Grampa Megabucks will see an opportunity to subvert the country via funding the southern states, and it will turn into hell on earth.
