closed shops are violation of freedom of association and closed shops are the violation of contract rights tet; it's telling business "you cannot set the terms of your own employment". once the union has a hold of your business to a point where it's all union workers, you can't get rid of the union. then they start just f**k all your shit up and you're completely f**k. look at GM
