unions should not be making agreements with employers. employers do not employ unions, they employ employees. the union may speak for them, but the agreement is with the employee not the union. extortion schemes by unions of "non of them are going to work unless you force all employees to join the union even if they don't want to" should not be allowed anywhere
no right minded employer would force unions on people. your argument is entirely fanciful because it's coming from the premise that employers are the ones who want to do this

I never said "employers are the ones who want to do this." My position is entirely in defense of contract rights. And why shouldn't unions make agreements with employers? I don't understand this position.
A contract between a labor union and an employer is made. So long as that contract doesn't violate other rights like freedom of association or free speech, you have a legitimate contract. The government has no right to meddle with legitimate contracts.
