I can't actually believe after all these years that people's knee jerk reaction after shit like this is for more gun control.

My main problem with this as a gun control argument is that violent acts such as this one are not common. They happen maybe every 3, 4 to 5 years and it is why they get news coverage. The overwhelming majority of gun homicides are gang-related, occur primarily in larger US cities and these same cities have some of the strictest gun laws in the country already. The results speak for themselves in regards to the gun control in those areas.

Gun control only applies to the law abiding. that is to say, those that don't break the law.

Those that will break the law, will break the law. Invariably.
