The biggest drain on our collective productive capacity are the losses generated by profit taking. Why not eliminate this unproductive behavior and divide the results of society's productive capacity equally, after retaining whatever portion is necessary to provide necessary services and infrastructure?
This is far more efficient allocation scheme than a "free market" system is.

The free market and private property are far too wasteful. The idea they are somehow magically more efficient is a myth.
