and when i meant before that he could be a threat on trick plays, i meant that would assume he was not playing the qb position

such that if he ran the ball 95% of the time, it might catch teams off guard if he occasionally threw down field or something (assuming the guy was wide open)

I forgot there was a game tonight and I just learned Calvin Johnson broke Jerry Rice's record for receiving yards. Awesome.

My my the NFC play-off picture will be fun next week..

The AFC is mostly a joke, but they probably have the best team in the NFL right now.. Denver.

Mike Tomlin is known for being a disciplinarian.. Yet all year long the Steelers have been totally undisciplined. Constant turn-overs and stupid penalties.

McElroy was sacked 11 times in the Jets game..Sanchez was the happiest guy at that game. He was safe on the bench.. LOL.. I am not sure if there was a Jet wide receiver open once in the whole game. Everyone keeps pointing to the Jets QB's as their problem.. Their problems on offense go much deeper than QB.. And I guess Tebow still don't get it. He still thinks he's a QB.. 'According to an ESPN report after the Jets’ loss to San Diego on Sunday, Tebow asked out of the wildcat package because he was frustrated with his role in the offense.'

The other NY team looks dead in the water too though.

How bout that 49'er defense.

LOL at Jerry Jones and The Cowboys. They build a billion $ stadium that the Cowboys can't win in because Jones is too cheap, or too stupid, whatever to hire a GM..

Was @ Heinz Field for what the Steelers called a football game. Sloppy effort by the offense in what was practically a playoff game. Defense forced 2 Cinci turnovers deep in Bengal territory and the Steeler offense scored no points on those turnovers. Conversely, Cinci scored 10 points on Ben's 2 ints. Things I was able to notice since I was at a real live game were that one, Haley has neutered any deep threat from the Steeler offense and two, Butler has to be the worst punter in the NFL right now. Only time Ben went deep was twice on busted plays, one went incomplete to Wallace and the other a TD to Brown. All defenses are doing is sitting on the short routes that Haley loves and the offense implodes.
