Its all like a moral map kinda thing,rather then worship this or that. Thats just my opinion.

I suppose one has to consider that it has become so prevalent and ingrained in the human consciousness that for many it has actually moved past that, and I mean for some religious authority figures as well as the masses. There are cool reverends, imams and other religious clergy all over the world for sure, who only mean to help people through "their God". I was brought up in the church so I've met a few, all good people. It's just that at it's core, religion is still based on a massive confidence trick and unfortunately is still used by many for control or worse, that still makes it a scam in my book even if there are well meaning believers as a by product.

I probably shouldn't have posted what I did as I bear these folk no ill will at all and it's the sort of thing that I wouldn't say to them (I'd say I disagree, don't believe, argue with them about existence of God) I don't want them to think I see them as dupes or something, that's just nasty. IDK, I am incredibly bipolar on religion, I do not believe it, I can't help that and it winds me up when some crusading wingnut starts judging people based on barely relevant 2000 year old texts, but at the same time I know so many people who believe in something.
