Well personally I don't think there should be any bans put into place (just a limit on magazine sizes) but I think its really silly to continue on about using terms like "assault rifle" or "assault weapon" incorrectly when there's really not much of a difference.

the point i am making is that if they are, to you, "the same", but you admit they are technically different (since you have to otherwise you are denying reality), then stop conflating the terms so as to make out like they actually are technically the same when they are not. the only reason i can see for doing that is malicious attempts to further undermine the people's rights to defense against tyranny by pulling on people's emotions since fully automatic weapons "Feel wrong" for many that people should have
