The gun ownership rate in Cuba and China exceeds the gun ownership rate in the Netherlands and Japan. Arguably both of the former countries are also less restrictive about gun ownership than the Netherlands and Japan.

Now - which country of the four would you rate the least tyrannical? The most?

Also, gun ownership in Nazi Germany was much more relaxed than gun ownership in the Weimar Republic and even contemporary Germany. The Nazis in 1938 did a number of things to expand gun ownership, including:
- Lowering age restriction to 18
- Exempting hunters from gun registration permits.
- Pulling most restrictions on long guns.

This doesn't play well with the propaganda, but I'm interested in facts. Yeah, if you weren't a Jew you probably couldn't legally own a gun, but that's a separate issue.
