If the goal is to reduce gun deaths and violence, I would think people would be glad to know they've been pointed in the wrong direction with the Assault Weapon sleight-of-hand.

Mass shootings of children tend to make people passionate and passionate votes are not always just. Kissinger said never waste a good crisis. What should be more important to the public is why these young men are murdering children,college kids, politicians and people in movie theaters. Dr. Peter Breggin has a theory.
