This has nothing to do with whether or not being in the military is hazardous. That's not even close to the point being made. It has everything to do with the nature of military missions and their justifications. You seem to want to spend blood and treasure on things that aren't in the best interest of Americans, while Obama and the rest of the country seems to be moving towards a more rational foreign policy.

As I said before, we should not wantonly expend US lives. Simply because danger is inherent in some positions in the military does not justify expending US soldiers on random misadventures around the world that may or at not benefit the US.
