Um, I have firearms training. Do you? I've probably shot types of weapons that you don't even know exist. I've held weapons I know you will never hold.

before joining the Public Defenders I had no idea how often private firearms were used to prevent crime. in our jurisdiction maybe one major crime a month is stopped...most of the time no-one is killed, typically just wounded or scared off.


I'm seriously considering getting a conceal carry permit.


also, your home-invasion crowd tends to be more towards the violent end of my client spectrum. if someone breaks into your home at night, I would advise you use lethal force.
