I don't think anyone is arguing that you shouldn't be able to shoot a home invader. Me personally--I might give a warning before blowing somebody away but who knows if there would even be time for that.
I'm guess I'm just wondering why that requires an AR-15. Wouldn't a 9mm do the trick? Or a .45? Or a .38? Or a shotgun?
