Lol you guys are just talking a bunch of bullshit. While parents certainly I influence a generation, the world you're born in to was more largely shaped by those one or two generations before your parents (most people have kids in early adulthood so they aren't likely to be at the height of societal influence yet).

Ok I am a boomer and I take offense to anyone that condemns ALL boomers.

I raised two kids. Both are adults, married with children.

They aren't narcistic. (Why does this forum think this word is misspelled?)
They don't have to take meds to cope.
They work hard and provide for their own.
They don't sponge of other people's money.
They Facebook only to post pictures of their children to prevent having to send attachments all the time. They do not post their thoughts, feeling, emotions, who they were with last night, who is cheating on who, etc.
They don't Twitter or text 24/7. They prefer to talk to people, not cyber them.
They are always respectful to others unless those people don't deserve it.
They obey the law.
They avoid drama and gossip about others.
They don't do illegal drugs.
They don't smoke.
They don't drink excessively and only drink on occasion.
They are proud to be Americans.
They don't bash other nationalities/cultures.
They have never made racist remarks.

Now maybe they are the rare exceptions I don't know.
