I know salaried people now who work 80-90 hours a week. If they don't they get 'warned', 3 'warnings' and they're out the door.. So yeah there is a gun to their head.
But they have no leverage, at all. So they work, at the expense of everything else. Their health, their families. Their kids are virtually fatherless.
But the cons of raising kids without fathers is for another thread.
