Rape incident statistics are fuzzy. There's always arguments as to the number that happen vs. the number that are reported. Not to mention a lot never even make it to trial.

Per capita they are very close. 1.5% isn't that much of a difference really.

I raised that point because I've seen several cases where gun deaths here in America get compared to other countries when there are other factors involved that aren't similar. When those other countries have the same standards/criteria to ours, then a comparison can be reliably made. Until then it's apples to oranges in my book.
