My whole problem with the anti-Voter ID law crowd is this: The laws in our country, and in every state in the union, clearly state that you must be a legal adult, age 18 or over, in order to vote. No one argues with this, no one seems to have a problem with it. You must also be 18 or over to buy lottery tickets or tobacco products. When asked for people to prove their age via a state-issued ID to buy a pack of Marlboro Lights, no one cries "racial discrimination." But, when asked to prove your age via a state-issued ID to vote, suddenly it is some racially motivated hate crime.
The level of hypocrisy is mind blowing.
