Just a quick observation/question... wouldn't women in combat roles (front line) lead to male soldiers taking unnecessary risk, to the detriment of the mission, in order to protect these women? Seems like that is a gender-based instinctive response that no amount of training could negate. And if that's true then it certainly would seem counter-intuitive to the overall efficiency of a fighting force.
