Would you be opposed to hiring Bernie Maddoff to oversee the banks and trading companies in the US? He is one of the biggest fraudsters in modern time, but that means he is also one of the best fraudsters so maybe he can understand and catch fraud better than the average smart guy. What do you think? Would it be a good idea to hire him for the task? Will he do a better job than someone who has never committed fraud? Can he be trusted in the position?
