IMO all the admin did was jump to conclusions too quickly and too early, hopping on the "protestors did it" bandwagon. After that they did damage control for a month which had some laughable moments. Although I do think there was no conspiracy, just a bad PR campaign, I still laugh at the Dems who look Americans in the face and act like they never tried to tie it to the protests after they did it for at least a month, even throwing Susan Rice on TV several times to spout that exact line in public. Other than that though, there was no conspiracy and no coverup. I am more concerned about the actual incident itself, particularly in regards to the amount of incompetency on display, instead of the bad PR after the fact.
