no, uber is thinking it odd that a catholic hospital is arguing what it is arguing. and some people just love to jump on hypocrites.

so she died of a heart attack, and he sued that they should have done a cesarean on her to save the twins. the law in colorado was that they are not persons. the hospital was arguing they shouldn't be liable based on the law.

i dunno what the alternative is. just giving him money and admitting wrong doing? im not sure there was wrong doing; she was at the hospital feeling nauseous and then she was dead. tragic, yes, but the amount of time given them wasn't enough. seeing pictures of her... maybe she shouldn't have been so fat. i mean, 31 and a heart attack? add in preggers with twins to an obese woman, you're asking for trouble

The alternative was to treat the unborn twins as if they were born, because as far as the RC is concerned, that is when they were created.
