know why gun owners are being demonized? because the loudest voices of that group are out of their f**k minds.

i happened across a buffalo wild wings post on facebook the other day and it was about 30 people calling the company a bunch of communists kitty liberal ethnic group member lovers because they enforce a policy of no weapons in their restaurants. people went to every single post that had been made on the page going back like a week or two to spam shit about the second amendment and "don't tread on me" flags and other horseshit about freedom.


completely f**k ridiculous. and now everyone else that sees those posts is going to see these crazy f**k posts and go "holy shit maybe they do need their guns taken away"

Here's the point. If there are crazy f**k posting and people want to punish the entire country for what, the actions of 30 people posting comments on the internet, then it's the people knee-jerking in response that are the problem.

I could show you several examples of crazy f**k on the web posting comments and it isn't a partisan affair. Crazy crosses all boundaries.

again missing the point. the loudest voices of a movement set the tone for the rest of the movement. is everyone in the tea party an out of control racist white male? no, but that's certainly the perception thanks to the majority of the people who "speak for" the tea party. is it any wonder they're marginalized? no, not at all.

likewise, when you have people losing their collective shit over guns over and over again it becomes implanted that the whole movement is like that. whether or not it's true is beside the point.
