we were like the alpha-team of college republicans...ex-catholic and jack baptist school girls, vets, and south park libertarians who threw better parties than the frats. when we got together with Hillel it was like 80's college movie level of awesome.


see I wen to a very progressive university in a very progressive town...so progressive that the progressive kids were the smarmy, boot-licking prudes, it was up to the Conservative kids to teach the school how to party. The head of the student libertarians legally changed his name to Flux Neo. I shit you not.

Gay Marriage - Completely abolish government involvement in marriage and hold everyone to contracted unions. Polygamous, interracial, and gay marriage are not for the state to authorize.
Abortion - Vehemently pro-choice but sympathetic to the pro-life argument.
Flag burning - Should be legal.
Gun ownership - Mostly centralist. I think car ownership and gun ownership - outside of antiques - both should require passing a series of psychological and capability exams.
Military - Drastically reduce.
Health-care - Public option for everyone (combine Medicare/Medicaid) and make health savings account compete with health insurance. Grant HSA the ability to earn interest. Basically, make it so the market destroys health insurance other than for serious illnesses. Also, legalize purchases abroad.
Social Security - Keep it.
Public Education - Too many remarks to comment without boring someone.
General Taxes - Get rid of flat or regressive taxes and implement a more progressive income tax system. Get rid of almost all deductions and credits.
Corporations - Strip all public protection of incorporation. If corporations want liability insurance, find a private provider.
Death Penalty - Abolish
War on Drugs - Abolish. Let the states decide, but national effort to legalize 'soft' drugs.
Penal/Police System - Drastic reform. Needs much more oversight. No more police investigating police. Yeah, right. With no more War on Drugs, turn those otherwise unemployed FBI agents on shady police departments. Offer huge incentives for busting crooked cops.
