no it actually doesn't make any sense. what does trampling on the rights of others, chaining people to trees, and the second amendment have to do with anything about smoking wherever you want not being a right?

Ok, let me dumb this down a bit.

You said: So you're saying smoking anywhere I want isn't a right?

And I replied that no, it's not. Why is it not? Because as an employee of a business, I am literally handcuffed to that business. If you decide to light up in my business, I can't just "leave" to get away from the smoke that is deadly when inhaled. So I am literally being forced to breathe in your second hand smoke, which you have no right to force me to do. I have a right to a clean and safe workplace and that includes smoking.

Isn't this all just a private property deal? If a reasurant doesn't want smoking in its establishment, they should be able to not serve smoking customers.
