Should special ed and 504 families pay more?

While I think the issues raised are indeed valid objections I don't think specific individuals should be targeted to pay higher taxes to offset the cost of special education.

It seems like in trying to solve an issue we have taken it too far and created another separate issue (the funding) to replace it. That seems to happen a lot. lol. We should try to stop being so short sighted, but I guess that's easier said than done and all one can do it learn from experience.

The reality concerning societies like Rome and Sparta is that they were extremely primitive and would be considered unbearable by modern standards.

Well their technology was primitive but their morals were extremely pragmatic and their empire lasted for around 1000 years so something must have worked.

I don't want a raise, nor do I want another 100 hours of training on how to deal with X, Y, and Z disabilities. I just want less individual education plans and more special ed math, science, and humanities teachers so that they can work with people who are trained for that disability and so that the kids get something out of the class.
