Money changes every social interaction into a commercial transaction, this negation of the normal human social pattern is the source of anomie and alienation in modern society.

I don't think so, he just happened to be standing in the right place at the right time.

The monetary elite consists of people who learned how to "hack" the system in various ways and get far more than their own personal allocation of resources. Much of this "hacking" occurred long ago (literal hacking lol) and the results have been handed down throughout the generations.

What sort of rational system gives one person 90 billion, and let's another person starve to death under a bridge with nothing? It's totally irrational, if considered from the standpoint of someone who isn't immersed in our culture. Our current way doing things just seems like the right way to do things to us because our culture has impressed this set of activities upon our consciousness via operant conditioning.

It's not really the "right" way, it's just what we know.

Bill Gates, through his company, has improved the lives of billions of people. Those who have purchased his products have streamlined their business and have made more efficient their lives. To imply that Bill Gates has somehow earned a debt to society by simply trading with people voluntarily, is absurd. Bill Gates owes society nothing, but he has improved it dramatically by being the entrepreneur he is. He should be celebrated.
