I find the perceived atheist/agnostic distinction an intellectually dishonest one. The atheist position is not "I strongly believe that there is no god(s)," but rather, "I find no evidence and/or reason to believe in god(s)." Atheism is litereally defined as without belief in theism. It's not the affirmative belief that there is no god(s), it is merely the absence of belief in god(s). Agnosticism is clearly atheism, if one says "I don't believe," that is by definition atheism. Agnostics are atheists pussyfooting around to appease the religious.

Sorry JDHURF, but I'll go with my definitions and not jump into a never-ending theological debate on what disbelief means based on what some theological scholar says it means. Besides, I am helping you derail this thread so I'll bow out now and wallow in my ignorance I guess.
