The point being that the same people flogging Benghazi to death showed no such enthusiasm for getting to the bottom of gov't failures that led to the actual 9/11, where 3,000 Americans were killed and our country was changed forever.

Now all of a sudden they've decided that an embassy attack in... Benghazi... must be issue #1 on the agenda! People died, dammit! All... four of them.

Back to the original point: this loser issue has been flogged since literally the day of by the GOP and it's gotten them nowhere, yet they keep doubling down on it.

Okay, you've made your point, on this thread and about a dozen others. Now perhaps you can engage the actual people here, instead of constantly referring to the actions and words of others, and acting as if the people here HAVE ANYTHING AT ALL WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH THAT. Which they don't... and neither do the other 40% of people who have serious misgivings about how this was handled. Truth be told, only a fraction of that 40% buys into conspiracy shit, the rest just think Obama did a piss poor job at handling the media (which he did) and their cynicism about political opportunism tells them they maybe, just maybe, Obama sought to downplay the role of AQ for political reasons. Which, although there is no evidence really, isn't exactly hard to believe, especially if you are non-partisan and recognize that almost every politician, in his place, would have done the same thing.

How am I supposed to react when people are CLEARLY manufacturing a "crisis/outrage" for naked political reasons? Am I supposed to ignore that? Go along? Not call them out on it? Pretend that they're not utterly full of it? And let me remind you, they're exploiting the deaths of four Americans to do it. The ambassador's body wasn't even cold yet before the outrage pimps were all over the airwaves screaming about the latest conspiracy theory--as if we can keep count anymore.

Or not point out that this tactic has failed the GOP miserably and yet these people STILL want to beat that horse to death? So not only is it one big, fat fake "issue" it's because of "issues" like this that the GOP is being decimated by these kinds of people? Or when these people do an complete 180 when you compare their reaction to the actual 9/11 to this, which is clearly motivated by nothing more than naked, embarrassing partisanship?

That said, people can "mock" my "crusade" against Wall St. all they want, but there's no debating what they did, how they did it and how it actually affects us all no matter who you are, unlike, say, the utter waste of time Benghazi.

And where is this "barrage of personal attacks"? I hope you're talking about our friend here endlessly calling me a "troll."
