Well, forget where you stand for a moment and let's consider one thing:
Average US citizen puts about $100K into Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid over their lifetime. They end up drawing an average $300 - $400K out of it today. People are taking more than they put in.
It isn't sustainable.

Yeah - private insurance is the bad guy.
