I've read a few different articles about this situation, and I'm kind of confused on whether the DoD is pursuing legal action because he actually divulged secrets in the book, or if it's just that he has published the book prior to getting the DoD stamp of approval, which does violate his nondisclosure agreements. All the other articles I read seem to imply the latter. I think military.com might just be sensationalizing the real story a bit.
Either way, just writing the book in the first place will probably be enough to make this guy an outcast to the SEAL community forever. I wonder if he even considered the consequences.
