All President's take lavish vacations, and him being on vacation does not at all affect his ability to carry out his duties. It isn't like he turns off his phone so nobody can get ahold of him. This isn't a real vacation by any means.
If this is a principled stand against paying for this type of thing, I'm with you. But I don't see how it relates to sequester at all.

This one is the GOP's fault. They've got everything to gain and nothing to lose by torpedoing the US economy.
Its a good thing the POTUS doesn't tell congress what to do.
