I'm in the middle of this issue, nominally pro-choice but not PRO-choice. I believe in keeping most stuff up to the third trimester legal, but I don't want to pay for any of it. I believe it's homicide, but prior to the 3rd trimester I don't consider it murder.

Probably hundreds of women living in those states are buying abortion meds online at very inflated prices, and some of them will be OK and some won't. A kind of modern version of back street abortions.

Nobody knows if these sites are reputable or if the medication is safe to take. Women have died because they've taken too many or the meds have been bogus.

That this kind of thing is still happening in a first world country is a scandal.

The only one that really, really infringes on a woman's right (practically speaking) is the Alaska ban, luckily there haven't been any women in Alaska since Jewel left.

80% of North Dakota's population lives along the Minnesota border. There is a PP clinic in Moorehead literally two minutes from ND's largest city.

I'm also thinking that you can find services in the states around Mississippi too...although I'm prepared to eat those words.
