Obama supporters do not care if he and his family take numerous vacations every year that cost tax payers millions because they are his supporters. Same goes for fans of Bush.
Replace Obama and his family with a big-wig corporate CEO and their family and watch them come out in droves to bitch about it.

Going on vacation to the Bahamas and a ski trip to Idaho in and of themselves really aren't all that outlandish of vacations for people nor IMO should anyone really begrudge others from enjoying said vacations. The exorbitant cost comes because this is the POTUS and his family, not because they are outlandish vacations.
Do we really want to set the precedent that the Chief executive and his family can't take vacations similar to what millions of American's enjoy? The POTUS needs protecting from home grown and foreign terrorists... are we willing to let the terrorists win.
