I think people give NK a little too much credit. They still struggle to deliver any kind of nuclear weapon. Setting it off underground and putting it atop a missile and delivering it accurately to a target hundreds of miles away are far different things. They also don't have many nuclear bombs, and as of now, none that are deliverable on a missile.

Nobody can predict the future, but I dont think NK will make any major move. They know doing so would be suicide.

Anyone else have any input on this?

The plan they probably have is have us bomb their country so we can build them a new one. They are running their mouth because they haven't yet been bitch slapped by a nuke submarine or aircraft carrier.

We shouldn't send a single US troop walking or driving across the DMZ. Just do what we have to do with air attacks, drone strikes, and missiles. Plenty enough to make our point and end their ability to wage war.

Of course, my belief is that we should immediately halt all commerce to/from NK immediately. This includes food and medical supplies. By "we", I mean by way of a UN resolution, which would apply to all countries. Don't know if China would go for it, though. Basically, put NK into a good-ole, old-fashioned, circa-1300's, full-bore siege. See how long they can last. Only end it when Kim Duodenum (or whatever he calls himself) makes a personal trek across the DMZ to apologize.
