My favorite was the recent fauxrage about how the jobs/poverty was too high yet these are the same people who say that people who are poor/jobless are so because they're lazy parasites.

The head of the NRCC is not an elected official. He is contradicting what representatives in office from his party have stated, but I'll take the actions of John Boehner and others over the words of the NRCC head. No doubt plenty of GOPers are trying to play politics with this, however, Boehner and Cantor have been consistent, even going as far as to give Obama credit for something for once because of him carrying out this porporsal. Simply put, Boehner and Cantor are kind of compromising and going along as they said they would with Obama's proposal and the head of the NRCC is trying to rile up the base, it is his job after all.

Gotta wait for more than 1 guy to make this to be about the GOP dontcha think? Either way, it will probably be a tough sell, because each party has been down this road multiple times.
