the man who lost his legs in this photo, Jeff Bauman, provided authorities with a description of one of the men
he was standing next to the bag the man placed 2.5 minutes before it exploded. this guy survived the bag being right next to him, although he has lost his legs (we don't need to see that picture again, it's terrible what happened to him)

I think his height being 6'1 was debunked as wrong.
